121 years for leaking possibly the greatest photos to ever hit the web in the eyes of men?! It’s a serious amount of time for Christopher Chaney, who was arrested by the Feds for allegedly hacking into the phones and email accounts of Scarlett Johansson, Christina Aguilera, Mila Kunis, and others. The guy claims he didn’t do it for money!
After private photos of herself hit the web, poor Scarlett went on a witch-hunt along with the F.B.I. agents to find the menace behind the photo and video leaks of a handful of celebrities. As we approach the close of the week, Federal agents have their horny hacker in custody and up for nine counts of computer hacking, eight counts of aggravated identify theft, and nine counts of illegal wiretapping.
Per Daily Mail:
“I wasn’t attempting to break into e-mails and get stuff to sell or purposely put it on the Internet,” Chaney said. “It just happened and snowballed … [I] didn’t know how to stop.”
To our surprise Chris was not living in his parents basement – but we positive he has a serious problem! Even though no web junkies are griping about the lovely pics of ScarJo’s bare back, Mr. Chaney faces more time in prison than most MURDERERS if convicted of all 26 counts. It seems a bit a harsh, but the Government will be making an example of Mr. Chaney’s case.
“These people are quite frankly scum and we need to get the message out there that we are going to take this seriously,” U.S. Attorney Andre Birotte, said at a news conference.
At least he’s responsible for adding a new word to the FBI’s digital lexicon… Chaney is expected back in a Florida courtroom today to face the federal grand jury that indicted him on 26 counts.
